Horse Basics: From the Ground Up

Silver Saddle offers a safe, supportive introduction to horsemanship and beginning riding for youth and adults new to working with horses. Through hands-on learning, participants build confidence and practical skills—from horse handling and groundwork to grooming, tacking up, and mounted basics—with an emphasis on safe and humane horsemanship.

Equine & Canine Assisted Learning for the Neurodiverse

Silver Saddle offers a safe, supportive introduction to horsemanship and beginning riding skills for youth and adults new to working with horses. Through hands-on learning, participants develop confidence and practical skills from horse handling and groundwork to grooming, tacking, and mounted basicswith an emphasis on safety and humane horsemanship.

Equine-Centered Learning for Schools & Youth Groups

Silver Saddle partners with public, charter, and independent schools, as well as youth-serving organizations, to offer small-group equine learning experiences grounded in purposeful interaction with horses. These programs support academic, developmental, and leadership goals through working with horses to emphasize self-awareness, collaboration, and responsibility.

Silver Saddle offers intentional, horse-partnered experiences for individuals and small groups seeking connection, reflection, and steady presence. Through guided, relationship-based interaction with horses, participants are invited to slow down, reconnect with themselves and others, and build self-awareness and communication in a mindful and supportive setting.

Community & Intergenerational Experiences

Our gardens and grounds offer accessible, non-riding, animal-centered experiences for older adults and community groups. Programs promote gentle engagement, social connection, and wellbeing through structured time spent with animals.
